• UPCUT
-
Designed for routing, grooving and slotting in both hard and soft woods, plastics, nonporous material, and composites.
Use when bottom finish is important, and part hold down is not an issue. Creates an upward chip removal.
• DOWNCUT
- Designed to hold material down during templating and thru cutting. Intended to eliminate or reduce chipping on
the top edge. Helps hold parts to table during cutting.
• COMPRESSION
- Spiral bit with an up and down cutting edge. Designed to produce a chip free finish on the top and bottom
in solid wood, wood composites, veneer and laminated materials.
• MORTISE COMPRESSION
-
Compression bit with a shorter upcut. Designed to produce mortise and dado cuts when top
finish is important.
• CHIPBREAKER
- Designed to produce a good finish, while allowing for faster feed rates.
• ROUGHER
- Designed to allow for extremely fast hogging in solid wood and wood composites. Not designed to produce finish
cuts, in most applications.
• LAMINATE GRADE
- Designed for extended tool life in MDF, especially with single or double sided laminate finishes.
