Grinding Coolant Concentrate — 1 Gallon, 35:1 Mix Ratio

The AC900 is a water-soluble grinding coolant concentrate in a 1-gallon container, mixed at a 35:1 water-to-concentrate ratio for use in moulder knife grinding recirculating coolant systems. Grinding coolant performs two essential functions in knife grinding: it removes heat at the wheel-knife contact point — preventing thermal damage to HSS knife edges that would reduce hardness and shorten knife service life — and it flushes swarf (ground metal particles) away from the wheel face to maintain cutting efficiency and surface quality. The 35:1 concentrate ratio means one gallon of AC900 produces 35 gallons of working coolant, providing a highly cost-effective way to maintain coolant supply compared to ready-to-use products.
