Insert Knife Head — 7″–8″ Dia × 80mm Wide, 3-Knife

The ID3780 is the largest dedicated insert cutter head in the range — a 3-wing head, 7″–8″ diameter with an 80mm insert (cutting) width — for running one full-height profile over long production runs on heavy moulders. Dedicated heads are the economical choice where a wide profile is cut repeatedly and in abrasive man-made materials: no cutter swaps between jobs, and low downtime because the C4 carbide inserts index to a fresh edge with repeatable accuracy. The inserts are industry-standard, readily available, and outlast comparable brazed tooling many times over; depending on the profile, multiple edges can be ground on one insert. Standard bores are 30mm, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″, 40mm, 1-13/16″, and 2-1/8″; black-oxide finish. Additional wings or hydro bores quoted on request.
