The MH4472 is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 7 in. cut length, 1-1/2 in. bore, 2-pocket corrugated back moulder head with 15° hook. The 7 in. knife seat carries full-height architectural moulding profiles — large crown returns, entablature components, and built-up millwork where the 6 in. MH4462 runs out of seat. The 4-13/16 in. OD maintains peripheral speed and chip clearance at 7 in. CEL, and the 15° hook angle delivers finish-grade surface quality in oak, maple, and walnut. At 7 in. CEL in a 2-pocket head, knife mass is significant — matched knife sets and balance verification are required before operating at production speed. The 1-1/2 in. bore fits heavy North American production moulder spindles. For wider profiles, the MH4482 and MH4492 extend the series to 8 and 9 in. CEL. Knives sold separately.
