Cuts a 1/8″ radius flute — a half-round hollow — into the face or edge of a workpiece, for reeded columns, fluted pilasters, decorative panel work and finger-pull details. The mating half is the half-round concave cutter (P-24-002), which forms the corresponding bullnose; run the pair to make a rounded tongue that seats in a matching hollow. Radius and width move together as the geometry requires: this cutter’s 1/8″ radius spans a 1/4″ width. Runs counterclockwise. The Pro-Line body carries a 1-1/4″ bore at 4″ diameter on three wings, in carbide or T-Alloy — carbide for general production, T-Alloy where abrasive stock or long runs between sharpenings justify the premium. The Mini-Pro equivalent is MC-63-002 on a 3/4″ bore at 2-15/16″. Freeborn indexes the series by radius, so the trailing SKU number is the radius in sixteenths.
