Eighth round knives for the small 1/8"-radius convex edge on shoe mouldings, screen mould, glass bead, and light trim — profiles where an off-radius or dull edge shows immediately.

The pattern rounds out the small-moulding range alongside quarter rounds and bead knives; at this scale there is no sanding a profile into shape, so grinding accuracy is the finish.
