Crown knives in a broad library of traditional, colonial, and contemporary patterns, plus custom grinding to reproduce historic and one-off cornices.
Crowns stack with bed, cove, and backout profiles into a layered cornice, so matched grinding and the right back relief — 38° or 52° — matter as much as the face pattern. Beyond standard M2, crown knives are ground in M3, T-1, XLW HP, and wear-resistant Schmidt Super Steel for short runs in abrasive stock; some wide solid-crown patterns take two passes on a Williams & Hussey or run corrugated only.
