Schmidt's own grind-your-own carbide knife system — a solid C3 micrograin carbide knife interlocked with a corrugated steel blank, so carbide and steel grind separately without loading the wheel.

Full 60° corrugations on the blank face and knife back give more adjustment range than comparable systems, in four widths — 38, 50, 60, and 70mm — for planing and profiling. C3 micrograin carbide holds up in MDF and abrasive natural woods; any SCHure-Lock knife can be custom ground to your profile, quoted on request. Matched wheels for Weinig grinders are under grinding wheels.
