Raised Panel

Panel raising cutters for 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" material, ground with 15° shear for clean cuts both with and across the grain. The family standard is counterclockwise rotation with the wood fed face up.

Pair the profile cutter with a back cutter to thin the panel tongue for a balanced edge and a correct fit in the frame groove, or add an opposite-rotation cutter and produce double-sided raised panels in a single pass. The 1/2"-material cutters cut a 1-3/8" reveal plus a 3/8" tongue.
