1/2” Hollow Mortising Chisel & Bit Set

The HMC500S is a complete 1/2-inch hollow mortising chisel and bit set — the standard complete setup for the most common structural mortise dimension in solid wood furniture. The 1/2-inch mortise is used in chair rail-to-leg joints, table apron joints, door frame construction, and a wide range of furniture assembly applications where structural glue-and-tenon joinery is required. The set supplies chisel and bit matched to the correct clearance — both components ready to install in the mortising machine chuck.
