Moulder Bed Lube — 1 Gallon

Schmidt Moulder Bed Lube is a purpose-formulated lubricant for moulder and planer bed surfaces. Applied to the machine table and feed bed, it reduces the friction between the workpiece and the cast iron bed as stock is fed through the machine — preventing drag marks, heat buildup at contact points, and the stalling that comes from sticky or resinous wood species binding against the table. Consistent lubrication is especially important in high-production runs where the same bed surface sees continuous workpiece contact over extended shifts. The 1-gallon size suits shops doing moderate production volume. For higher-volume operations running continuous moulder shifts, the 5-gallon (AC912) and 55-gallon drum (AC91255) options reduce reorder frequency. Apply lightly to the full length of the bed before production runs and reapply as needed when feed resistance increases.
