The WC2238C is a 2-piece carbide-tipped replacement groover set — 3/8-inch kerf, 4-inch diameter, 1-1/4-inch bore — for compatible stile and rail door cutter sets. The 3/8-inch kerf accommodates thicker panel materials: 3/8-inch plywood panels, thicker glass panel channels, or raised panel profiles requiring a wider panel groove. Swapping from the 1/4-inch groovers (WC2234C) to the WC2238C expands the door set’s capability without purchasing a new base set. Compatible with WC220, WC221, and WC224 (per WC2234 source data — confirm with Schmidt for WC2238C compatibility). Carbide tipping provides production service life.
