4” OD x 3/8” Kerf x 1-1/4” Bore 3-Wing Carbide Straight Top Groover

The WC142 is a 3-wing carbide-tipped straight-top grooving cutter for shaper operations — 4-inch OD, 3/8-inch kerf width, and 1-1/4-inch bore. The 3/8-inch slot width handles heavier panel groove applications: 3/8-inch plywood and MDF panels, shelf dadoes in furniture and cabinet cases, wood biscuit or loose spline grooves in solid wood edge joinery, and similar applications where a wider slot is required. Straight-top tooth geometry produces a clean flat groove floor. At 4-inch OD and 3-wing configuration, WC142 runs at standard shaper speeds on a 1-1/4-inch spindle.
