5-1/2” x 30mm x 1-1/2” Bore Insert Flooring Cutter — Tongue, 3-Wing

The ID551T is the 1-1/2-inch bore version of the 3-wing insert flooring tongue cutter — machines the tongue element of the hardwood flooring T&G joint on spindles with 1-1/2-inch bore. At 5-1/2-inch OD and 30mm wide, ID551T matches the ID551G groove cutter geometry to produce a tight, consistent tongue-and-groove fit in production hardwood flooring. The larger 1-1/2-inch bore provides secure engagement on spindles sized for this heavier production work. Insert-style carbide allows worn inserts to be rotated to a fresh cutting edge without pulling the cutter off the machine for resharpening — a significant productivity advantage in continuous flooring production.
