ER20 Precision Collet — 15/32″

The Schmidt TE042201532 is a precision ER20 collet for 15/32-inch shank router bits and CNC tooling. ER-style collets clamp tool shanks through radial compression as the collet nut draws the collet into the taper bore of the tool holder. Each collet accepts a small range of shank diameters — not just the nominal listed size — with the spring-steel collet wall flexing to grip shanks within the collet’s acceptance range. Accepts shanks in the range .429 – .468″. This ER20 collet fits the ER20 collet chuck. ER20 provides a mid-range collet capacity up to 1/2″ shank diameter, common in CNC router spindles and machining center tools. Precision-ground to close runout tolerances for accurate, repeatable tool clamping. Replace collets that show wear, deformation, or loss of spring tension; a worn collet increases tool runout and reduces surface quality and tool life.
