The MC-58-001 is a reversible glue-joint cutter for the Freeborn Mini-Pro system that machines an interlocking roundover profile on mating board edges — creating a joint with significantly more glue surface area than a plain butt joint while also providing self-registering mechanical alignment during assembly. The same cutter handles both halves of the joint: cut the first board, then flip it and cut the matching face without a second cutter or setup change. This makes the reversible glue-joint approach efficient for production edge-gluing of solid wood panels, tabletops, stair treads, and door blanks where joint strength and flat board registration matter. The interlocking profile keeps glue-up panels flat across the joint, reducing flush-planing or sanding after clamping. 3/4″ bore for the Mini-Pro spindle, 2-15/16″ OD, 3-wing, CCW, carbide tips. The FB-GJ-PL-001 is the matching Pro-Line (1-1/4″ bore) version at the same 2-15/16″ OD — unusual for Pro-Line, which is typically 4″ OD, reflecting the compact geometry of the glue-joint profile.
