The MC-66-001 is a matched drop-leaf rule-joint cutter set for the Freeborn Mini-Pro system. The rule joint is the mating cove-and-roundover profile machined on the table top edge and the leaf edge — the two profiles interlock so the leaf swings down on its hinges without the leaf edge binding against or gapping away from the tabletop. Matched means both the cove head and the roundover head are sized to the same geometry, ensuring a consistent, tight-fitting joint; mismatched cove and roundover radii leave a visible gap or cause binding as the leaf swings. The MC-66-001 set handles the rule joint for furniture-grade drop-leaf tables in solid hardwood — dining tables, Pembroke tables, gate-leg tables, and console tables. 3/4″ bore for the Mini-Pro spindle, 2-15/16″ OD, 3-wing, CCW, carbide tips.
