Center Groover — 3/8″ × 1/2″, Deep-Profile C&P, Pro-Line (1-1/4″ Bore)

Cuts the 3/8″-wide, 1/2″-deep groove that seats a panel or glass edge in a stile-and-rail door frame. This is the center-groover option that substitutes for the standard tongue-and-groove cutter in Freeborn’s 1/2″ depth-of-pattern cope & pattern sets — the six-piece family that mills a deeper profile than the standard series — you choose it at purchase to match the groove to your panel thickness, which is why Freeborn offers the set across a range of widths: the narrower millimetre sizes suit glass, the wider inch sizes suit solid wood panels. At 1/2″ depth — other than the standard 3/8″ — the tongue-and-groove option is not available, and diameters differ so you fence-adjust between cuts. The set is two matched cutters; profile cutters are not included. Pro-Line build: 3-wing, 1-1/4″ bore, 4″ diameter, counterclockwise, in carbide or T-Alloy. Sized rather than adjustable — pick the width that matches the panel or glass you are setting and it drops straight into the cope & pattern stack for a consistent, rattle-free groove across the run.
