Handrail Cutter — Profile 051, Pro-Line (1-1/4″ Bore)

Cuts the contoured top profile of a stair handrail — profile 051 in Freeborn’s handrail range, shaping the grip surface that decides how a finished rail feels in the hand and how it reads along a balustrade. Each profile is supplied as a two-piece set, so the pair carries the full rail section in one setup rather than building it up from separate passes. Profile 051 produces a rail 2-3/4″ wide by 2-3/8″ tall, the wider of the two sections in the range. The other size, profile 050, gives a narrower 2-1/4″ section at the same height — choose the profile number that matches the rail you are running rather than ordering both. Pro-Line only: 1-1/4″ bore, 4″ diameter, three wings, carbide or T-Alloy, counter-clockwise. Note that the wider rail runs on the smaller 4″ body while the narrower profile 050 runs on a 5-1/4″ body, so body size does not track rail width here. Match the profile number to the catalog drawing to confirm the rail section before ordering.
