HSK Corrugated Knife Head — 130mm Width, Right/Top Spindle, 20°

Shops running HSK-spindle moulders can cut changeover to minutes with this 130mm corrugated knife head, machined for the right or top spindle position. The head accepts standard corrugated back knives as well as Schmidt’s SCHure-Lock carbide knife system, so a shop can grind HSS profile knives for short custom runs and switch to carbide for long production runs on abrasive stock without changing heads. The standard 20° cutting angle covers most softwood and hardwood moulding work, and a 12° cutting angle is available on request for cleaner results in difficult grain — specify the desired cutting angle and spindle position when ordering. Part of Schmidt’s MH300–MH318 series spanning knife widths from 60mm to 240mm across top, bottom, left and right spindle positions, the head also pairs with Schmidt’s custom knife grinding service for one-off profiles. The HSK interface’s precision taper keeps runout low at production spindle speeds, and that accuracy shows up where it matters: a knife finish that needs less sanding before the moulding leaves the shop.
