Schmidt Picture Moulding Profile Knife — WM276

The Schmidt WM276 is a finished M2 high-speed steel picture moulding profile knife ground to 2-1/4″ H × 2″ W × 5/16″ thick. Picture moulding is a horizontal rail installed near the ceiling, featuring a projecting curved ledge that accepts a hook for hanging framed artwork — allowing pictures to be repositioned without nailing into walls. At 2-1/4 inches of profile height and 2 inches wide, the WM276 produces a substantial picture rail profile appropriate for standard ceiling heights and traditional interior millwork. Available in Corrugated 60° back for use in 60° corrugated moulder heads and in Williams & Hussey back format for W&H moulder and matcher machines. Both WM273 and WM276 profiles are 2-1/4″ tall — verify the specific picture moulding cross-section geometry from the Schmidt catalog to select the correct knife for the required rail profile.
