Schmidt Double Tongue & Groove Lock-Mitre Insert Cutter Set — 5″ × 1-1/4″ Bore

The Schmidt ID20235 is a dedicated 3-wing insert lock-mitre cutter set that mills double tongue-and-groove lock-mitre corner joints. Built on a 5″ diameter, 1-1/4″ bore body carrying carbide inserts, it cuts the precise mating faces for a double-T&G lock-mitre corner in hardwood, plywood, chipboard, and other glue-bonded or highly abrasive materials. The set comes with inserts; replacement inserts (IC20235) restore an accurate fit and consistent cutting diameter without regrinding. Position the cutter to cut tongue and groove in the center of the panel with the wood lying flat for Part 1, then on-end for Part 2. Can be custom ordered in different diameters and opposite rotations.
