Schmidt Hydro-Lock Moulder Head — 150mm × 50mm, 6-Knife

Hydro-Lock clamping lets a moulder shop swap corrugated knives in a fraction of the time a keyed or bolted head takes, seating each knife concentrically for balanced, chatter-free runs. This 6-knife head measures 6 in. (150mm) in diameter with a 50mm cutting length and drives profile and surfacing knives through softwood and hardwood moulding stock at a 15° cutting angle over 16–60° corrugations. The extra knives raise feed speed and finish quality on longer production runs. A single grease-gun stroke expands the internal sleeve to lock every knife at once; releasing the pressure frees the whole set for changing or adjustment. Order with 1-1/2″, 40mm, 1-13/16″ or 2-1/8″ bore to match your spindle. Grease fittings are installed on both ends unless specified, and safety retaining rings are available for high-rpm work.
