Schmidt Window Stool Profile Knife — WM116

The Schmidt WM116 is a finished M2 high-speed steel window stool profile knife ground to 1-5/8″ H × 1-13/16″ W × 5/16″ thick. A window stool is the horizontal interior sill piece that spans the window opening at the sill line — the flat shelf-like element that the interior casing butts against at the bottom of the window. Stool profiles include a nosing or edge detail that overhangs the apron below, shaped to match the overall window trim package. At 1-5/8″ height and 1-13/16″ wide, the WM116 produces a stool edge profile proportioned for standard residential window trim dimensions. Available in Corrugated 60° back for use in 60° corrugated moulder heads and in Williams & Hussey back format for W&H moulder and matcher machines. Ground M2 HSS — installs directly in the head for consistent stool nosing geometry in pine, poplar, oak, and standard window trim stock.
