4-13/16 in. OD x 5 in. CB Knife Head, 2-Pocket, 15° Hook, 40mm Bore

The MH4452M is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 5 in. cut length, 40mm bore, 2-pocket corrugated back moulder head with 15° hook — the metric bore version of the MH4452 for European 40mm spindle moulders. The 5 in. knife seat handles tall architectural profiles on metric-specification equipment: full crown moulding, large door casing, and decorative millwork elements where a 4 in. head provides insufficient coverage. European moulder equipment with 40mm spindles requires the metric bore for proper fit; attempting to run an inch-bore head on a metric spindle causes runout that degrades profile accuracy and surface quality. The 4-13/16 in. OD maintains chip clearance at 5 in. CEL; the 15° hook angle reduces hardwood surface tearout. At 5 in. CEL, knife projection and balance verification are required before use. The MH4452 (1-1/2 in. bore) is the inch-bore equivalent. Confirm 40mm spindle specification before ordering. Knives sold separately.
