Runs corrugated-back knives across a full 305mm (12″) working length — the longest head in Schmidt’s 137mm (5-3/8″) diameter straight-bore series, for wide moulding and paneling profiles that a shorter head can’t span in one setup. Two knife pockets with 22° hook take standard 16-60° corrugated-back knife stock in 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″ or 10mm thickness, so the head runs the same CB knife inventory as the shorter 50mm-230mm heads in the series. Ground stock balanced with its knives keeps the long head running smooth at moulder speeds.
