4-13/16 in. OD x 4 in. CB Knife Head, 4-Pocket, 15° Hook, 40mm Bore

The MH444M is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 4 in. cut length, 40mm bore, 4-pocket corrugated back moulder head with 15° hook — the 40mm metric bore version of the MH444 for European production moulders. The 4 in. CEL covers the core of architectural moulding production — door casing, base moulding, chair rail, crown — on European-specification equipment where the 40mm bore is required for proper spindle fit and head runout. Four-pocket cutting provides improved surface finish and feed rate capability over 2-pocket equivalents. The 15° hook angle reduces surface tearout on dense hardwood species common in European furniture and architectural millwork applications. Matched knife sets required for balance at 4 in. CEL in four-pocket configuration. The MH4442M (2-pocket metric) is available for less demanding surface finish requirements. Confirm 40mm spindle bore specification before ordering.
