The IN652 gives the compact 4 in. surfacing head its widest reach — a 6 in. cutting length that faces broad solid stock in a single pass on moulders and planers built around a smaller spindle. The aircraft-aluminum body runs light and quiet and pulls less horsepower than an equivalent steel head. Six wings carry four-sided solid carbide inserts in a staggered, spiral arrangement that shears cleanly across the full width for a line-free finish on most machines, with 36 effective cutting teeth. Inserts rotate to fresh edges or replace on the machine, so there is no grinding and no downtime sending knives out. A constant cutting diameter keeps setup minimal as inserts are indexed, and the light cutting pressure lets you raise feed speed. Specify bore size when ordering.
