The IN664 faces wide boards and panels in one pass with a 6 in. diameter, a 9 in. cutting length, and six wings for a finer finish at higher feed than the four-wing IN661. The large diameter carries the wide cut steadily under load, and the aircraft-aluminum body keeps a long, heavy head light enough to run quietly and on reasonable horsepower. Six wings hold four-sided solid carbide inserts staggered in a spiral across the full 9 in. length, shearing the grain for a line-free surface with 60 effective cutting teeth; the dense edge spacing lets each insert take a lighter bite for better finish and feed. Inserts rotate to fresh edges or replace on or off the machine — no grinding, no regrinds. A constant cutting diameter keeps setup minimal as inserts index.
