The BBP085L is a carbide tipped boring bit — 8mm diameter, 57mm overall length, brad point tip — in left-hand rotation. The brad point spur provides more precise centering and a cleaner face hole entry than the 60-degree point BBT085L — preferred when boring 8mm dowel holes, connector fitting holes, or Confirmat pilot holes in hardwood veneer or solid wood components where face quality and hole-to-hole placement precision are important.
