8” OD x 3/8” Kerf x 1-1/4” Bore 6-Wing Carbide Straight Top Groover

The WC182 is a 6-wing carbide-tipped straight-top groover — 8-inch OD, 3/8-inch kerf width, and 1-1/4-inch bore. The 8-inch OD delivers the highest rotational mass in the straight groover range at 3/8-inch kerf: the resulting inertia resists deflection through interrupted cuts, grain transitions, and harder species, producing a more consistent flat groove floor than lighter 4-inch or 6-inch groovers on challenging stock. For production cabinet and furniture shops grooving hardwood at volume, the 8-inch groover at 3/8-inch kerf reduces the cut variation that shows up in assembly fit.
