Flooring Insert Cutter Set — Profile 030, 30mm Tips

The FB-FL-030 is a dedicated 2-piece flooring insert cutter set for cutting the tongue-and-groove profile on solid wood flooring boards — one head cuts the tongue, the other cuts the matching groove. Profile 030 is one of two flooring profile geometries in Freeborn’s FL insert series (alongside FB-FL-500); the profiles differ in tongue-and-groove geometry, so verify profile 030 against Freeborn’s flooring profile specifications or your flooring design drawings before ordering. The insert design uses 30mm replaceable carbide or T-Alloy tips that can be re-sharpened or replaced without retiring the cutter head bodies, making this cost-effective in high-volume flooring production. 1-1/4″ bore, 3-1/2″ minor diameter, 3-wing CCW, handles material up to 1″ thick. The 2-piece set machines both mating profiles in one tooling investment for a complete flooring profile operation.
