Window Sash Check Rail Cutter — S-Alloy, 4″ × 2″ × 1-1/4″ Bore (3-Wing), 3/8″ Parting Strip

A stellite-alloy (S-Alloy) tipped check rail cutter for window sash — 4″ diameter, 2″ height, 1-1/4″ bore, three wings. The check rail cutter machines the angled meeting-rail profile where the upper and lower sash of a double-hung window overlap, so the two sash close tightly against one another along a weather-resistant meeting line. This is the 3/8″ parting strip version; for a 1/2″ parting strip, order WC235. S-Alloy tipping stands up to the long production runs of millwork sash work; runs on a standard 1-1/4″ shaper spindle.
