Innovator

The Innovator and Innovator Jr. multiprofile panel raising cutters put one corrugated-back head behind a whole library of knives, with a pocket design that safely produces panel profiles up to 2" deep.

Both sizes take 5/16"-thick 60° corrugated-back steel knives or the 10mm SCHure-Lock carbide knife system — any shop that grinds carbide can turn out its own 3-wing carbide panel raisers for MDF and composite work. Standard profiles are stocked in high-speed steel and SCHure-Lock carbide, sold in sets of 3, with blank steel knives in sets of 3 for grinding your own. Specify Innovator or Innovator Jr., direction of rotation, and whether the cutter runs over or under the wood when ordering.
