125mm x 240mm x 40mm Bore Surfacing & Relieving Head with Square Inserts

The ID5024040 is a surfacing and relieving head — 125mm outer diameter, 240mm body width, 40mm bore — carrying 4 or 6 rows of standard 15mm square carbide inserts for high-coverage surfacing on planers and moulders, plus two dovetail slots 180° apart for adjustable relieving cutters. The 15mm square inserts index to four fresh cutting edges each (edges numbered for setup) and are stocked as INKS415 (screws INKS415S). Relieving holders and cutters — ID50001 single or ID50002 double with ID50010 carbide relieving inserts — are ordered separately. Machined from aircraft-quality aluminum; also available in steel. The 40mm bore mounts on production moulder and planer spindles. Custom sizes quoted on request.
