Pro-Line Rub Spacer, 5.5mm x 3/8″ Tongue

This Pro-Line rub spacer covers the 5.5mm-width metric tongue profile on the cope side of the Freeborn M-50/P-10 system, operating on the 1-1/4″ bore spindle. The 5.5mm width aligns with European-specification center-cutter standards used when door and window frame production is designed to metric stock dimensions. The 3/8″ depth keeps tongue engagement at the shorter configuration. Swapping the center cutter for this spacer on the cope pass holds the spindle stack height constant, so fence and collar positions established on the pattern side carry directly across. In shops running both imperial and metric door-frame profiles, having the correct spacer for each tongue geometry means profile transitions are a cutter swap rather than a full re-setup. Machined to close tolerances for the 1-1/4″ bore.
