Insert Knife Head — 5″–6″ Dia × 30mm Wide, 3-Knife

The ID3530 is a dedicated 3-wing insert cutter head, 5″–6″ diameter with a 30mm insert (cutting) width, for running one fixed profile over long production runs. Dedicated heads are the economical choice where a consistent profile is cut for very long runs and in abrasive man-made materials: no cutter swaps between jobs, and minimal downtime because the C4 carbide inserts index to a fresh edge with repeatable accuracy. The inserts are made to industry-standard dimensions, are readily available, and outlast comparable brazed tooling many times over; depending on width and depth of the profile, multiple cutting edges can be ground onto a single insert for lower cost per edge. Standard bores are 30mm, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″, 40mm, 1-13/16″, and 2-1/8″; black-oxide finish. Additional wings or hydro bores for higher speeds quoted on request.
