Schmidt Insert Spiral Hogging Router Head — 2-1/4″ Dia, 3″ Cutting Edge, 1″ Shank

The Schmidt IR501 is a 2-1/4″ diameter insert spiral hogging head built for CNC routing — straight and curved milling of stairs, architectural millwork, and precision woodworking where accuracy matters. Bottom spurs let it rabbet and ramp, and replaceable carbide inserts (INKS415) and spurs (INKS414) keep it cutting cleanly with no regrinds. It carries a 3″ cutting-edge length on a 1″ shank and mounts through an HSK collet holder. Replacement inserts, spurs, screws, and torx wrenches are stocked separately.
