4-13/16 in. OD x 2-1/4 in. CB Knife Head, 4-Pocket Dual Angle, 12°/20° Hook, 40mm Bore

The MH442DM is a 4-13/16 in. OD, 2-1/4 in. cut length, 40mm bore, 4-pocket dual-angle corrugated back moulder head with 12° and 20° hook angle seats — the metric bore version of the MH442D for European 40mm spindle moulders. Combining the material-flexibility of dual-angle knife seat geometry with 40mm bore compatibility, the MH442DM serves European production shops running both hardwood and softwood narrow profiles through the same metric-spindle moulder. The 12° seats reduce surface tearout on dense hardwoods; the 20° seats improve chip clearance for softwood production runs — using the same head body for both material categories. The 40mm bore requires correct spindle fit for accurate head runout. The 2-1/4 in. CEL handles narrow decorative and trim profiles. The MH442D is the 1-1/2 in. inch-bore equivalent.
