2-Piece Carbide Glass Panel Rabbet Set — 4” x 1-1/4” Bore

The WC225C is a 2-piece carbide-tipped glass panel rabbet cutter set — 4-inch diameter, 1-1/4-inch bore — for producing the rabbet that holds a glass panel or flat panel in a door frame. Unlike the standard groove-type panel seat used for floating wood panels, the rabbet configuration produces a recessed shoulder along the inside edge of the frame where a glass panel, flat mirror, or thin flat panel sits and is retained by a removable stop. The 2-piece set machines the rabbet profile as part of the stile and rail inside edge. Carbide tipping holds its edge through abrasive stock and long production millwork runs, and stretches the interval between sharpenings past what S-alloy delivers.
