Pro-Line Rub Spacer, 1/4″ x 3/8″ Tongue

This Freeborn Pro-Line rub spacer fits the 1-1/4″ bore spindle and corresponds to the shorter 1/4″ x 3/8″ tongue depth in the M-50/P-10 cope-and-pattern system. The 3/8″ depth is the shallower of the two imperial tongue sizes in the Freeborn spacer lineup, suited for lighter-gauge cabinet frames and stile profiles where a shorter tongue is specified. Replacing the center cutter with this spacer on the cope pass keeps the spindle stack at the correct height so the fence and collar settings from the pattern pass carry straight over. The joint geometry mirrors the pattern cut precisely, with tightness that comes from Freeborn’s machined tolerance rather than shimming. Close bore tolerances on the 1-1/4″ fit ensure consistent spindle seating across the full Pro-Line spacer lineup.
